Coronavirus Event Update: VR/AR Global Summit North America will proceed as scheduled
The team at the VRARA would like to express to the community that we are closely watching and monitoring the coronavirus situation globally and are assessing, on a daily basis, the safety and well being of all our potential event attendees. At this time, the Global Summit in Vancouver on Sept 17 & 18 will proceed as scheduled. As the news develops around the global impact of the coronavirus we will keep our members and attendees up to date on our stance for hosting our events.
The full conference passes are refundable, minus the processing fees, up until 30 days prior to the event so you can purchase your event tickets with little to no risk. Sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to still book their spaces as their contracts will be honoured for future or postponed events, should the need arise to reschedule. Our goal is always to bring together the best and brightest stars of the virtual and augmented reality community and honour our commitments to the industry.
The VRARA is committed to providing a safe environment for our events and we will work closely with the city of Lisbon, Tourism Portugal and LX FActory to ensure that our event meets all health and sanitation measures needed to provide a safe event. We will follow WHO guidelines and work with cleaning and support staff to ensure that the venue and exhibits are clean and ready for attendees. For updates on coronavirus please check WHO website daily. We look forward to hosting you at the VR/AR Global Summit in Vancouver in September.
