Jesse is an entrepreneur, advisor, journalist, curator, educator, and public figure in emerging technology. He is the Editor-at-Large of VRScout and is also the host of Microsoft’s Tech Tock, a talk show about the future that takes place within in AltspaceVR. In addition, Jesse is the Curator for the XR For Change (XR4C), part of the Games for Change festival. Jesse covers VR/AR, blockchain, AI, and media, with work in Adweek, Billboard, Entrepreneur, IndieWire, HuffPost, Quartz, and The Verge; and syndication in CBS News, CJR, The New Digital Storytelling textbook, and REDEF. He was listed as a top global influencer by Onalytic.

Jesse always enjoys the expression on people's faces when he tells them he began his professional career as a poet. The thing is: poetry and emerging tech have more in common than many realize. Jesse is lucky enough to have discovered a life that lets him interface with the greatest minds in the arts, sciences, & education to see how all the dots connect.

These days he uses those language skills to unpack complicated technologies (VR/AR, AI, Blockchain, IoT) to share visions of our emerging future through his work VR Scout, his ongoing coverage at Forbes, and in curating immersive exhibitions.

He shares these ideas through public speaking and his hope is to use clear storytelling to show how these technologies will shape our future. He also hosts TECH TOCK, a VR talk show in Microsoft's socialVR platform, AltspaceVR. This venue allows him to chat with pioneers in technology while exploring the emerging norms of the metaverse.
