Interactive Workshop.png

Voices of VR podcast host Kent Bye been to over 100 conferences in the last 11 years, and he lives for the serendipitous collisions that happen in the in-between, threshold spaces of a conference. This session will be an interactive workshop in High Fidelity to experiment with social dynamics of spatialized audio with the proper invitation and facilitation to create dynamic conversations and the opportunity to discover other people with a shared intention for creation or shared problems to solve. The shared problem we are all facing is that virtual conferences still have a ghostly presence to them, and have been focused on the one-to-many broadcast model of presentation. This session is an experiment to try to move beyond this conference model, and into a more unconference format.
